District and building administrators provide guidance and support for a new model or framework and increase the likelihood of district wide and school wide implementation. Therefore, comprehensive commitment and leadership at both the district and building level are critical for successful and sustained RtI/MTSS implementation.
The I-RtI Network supports participating districts to actively involve key stakeholders such as district and school administrators in building and sustaining commitment to RtI/MTSS implementation. There is also an emphasis in supporting administrators in systems development and enhancement. Administrators direct leadership teams and staff in assessing needs, allocating resources, and providing tools and training based on the identified needs.
